This will lead me to understanding the conventions for this genre, thus resulting in me knowing what I must be including on my own movie poster. I will be looking at them in terms of layout, font, colour and images ect.

I am going to conduct research and analysis towards the conventions of film posters. I have looked at five different posters from a variety of genres, in order to see if there are similarities within the conventions. Adobe premiere: software ALL DONE ON A PC Camera: HC-VX980 Manfrotto tripod Use of dissolves From black dissolving into next shot – slows the tone down and gives glimpses in (seems like little romantic snapshots at the start) I added an outside sound during the park shots Camera sound from the colleges sound effect library Impact sounds from BBC sound library I included a sound effect of a ring tone from BBC sound effects library instead of the apple iphone ringtone which I recorded with the shot iphone doesn’t sound like a ringtone in a trailer Fading down the volume of the music whenever there was any dialogue from the actors the music was loudest in the 3 rd part so I especially did this here Photoshop, for the film title
