Evaluation - combination of main product and ancillary texts

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts? When promoting/marketing a campaign, it is extremely important to hold a sense of continuity throughout. This enables audiences to automatically be aware of what film is being promoted. Captivating images and texts contribute to an undivided campaign, helping establish to audiences the thrilling nature of the film, thus encouraging them to go and see it. Additionally, when the film is shown in cinemas, it will magnetize viewers and will enforce it as being raw in their minds.  Throughout my campaign, I made sure I upheld constant elements in regards to keeping to the same patterns and trends.  One example of how I did this was via the font I chose for my poster and trailer. I made sure that the fonts for both of these were the same. The reasons behind this were to enhance the audiences engagement in response to promotion. My chosen font was 'Giovanni', and I carried out lots of research...

Other ways in which my film can be marketed

My marketing campaign consisted of creating a poster, magazine cover and teaser trailer.  There are, however, other ways in which my film could have been marketed.  For instance, there could have been a series of different teaser trailers to come out. These could contain a wider scale of narrative and could be released just before the official film comes out.  I have included two different teaser trailers for Robin Hood. In comparison to other teaser trailers I have previously annalysed, both of these differ as they are a lot more lengthy in time. For instance, they both include a higher range of shots and narrative.  Along with additional teaser trailers, Robin Hood also has its own website, enabling audiences to watch the trailer on, as well as having links to social media sites such as Facebook, Instagam and Twitter.  Robin Hood website Robin Hood facebook Robin Hood twitter Robin Hood Instagram Press packs are ...

list of tools I used in software

Adobe premiere: software ALL DONE ON A PC Camera: HC-VX980 Manfrotto tripod Use of dissolves From black dissolving into next shot – slows the tone down and gives glimpses in (seems like little romantic snapshots at the start) I added an outside sound during the park shots Camera sound from the colleges sound effect library Impact sounds from BBC sound library I included a sound effect of a ring tone from BBC sound effects library instead of the apple iphone ringtone which I recorded with the shot iphone doesn’t sound like a ringtone in a trailer Fading down the volume of the music whenever there was any dialogue from the actors the music was loudest in the 3 rd part so I especially did this here Photoshop, for the film title
