Location list, prop list and costume list

I have created a location, prop and costume list which highlights everywhere I shot, the outfits I dressed my characters in and any props which they used.  Location -Inside my house; my bedroom, landing, bathroom, dining room, hallway, kitchen/backdoor  -Down my street  -Littleton playing fields -Another park -A street in Hampstead Garden Suburbs -Alley way next to my house  -In my college  I have included photos of some of the locations which I used I have chosen this location for my establishing shot. The wide open space in a park, sets a romantic tone, thus positioning the audience with the relationship between the protagonists.  Via using the bathroom for the first sign of direct danger towards the girl friend is effective in portraying her vulnerability.  The stairs convey the female characters isolation and subjection, as she wonders through her house alone I feel as though this road would be a suitable ...

List of actors used for my teaser trailer

I have created a list of all the actors which I featured in my teaser trailer. I have also included photographs of them, whilst in action.  Actor 1: Demi Crook Demi plays one of the protagonists. I presented her character as a vulnerable female, with a psycho ex boyfriend, who is stalking her along with her current (soon to be fiance), who he eventually plans on killing. Actor 2: Cali Nice Cali played the other protagonist. His role was to convey a protective boyfriend who will do all he can in his power to keep his girlfriend safe from her psycho ex.  Actor 3: Tyler Kingston Tyler played my antagonist. I directed him to portray a sinister character, who is stalking his ex with her new 'lover'. His aim was to see the new man in the picture dead.

Sound effects for teaser trailer

As my trailer is for a film that belongs to the Horror genre, I have carefully thought about the sound effects which will be the most suitable and authentic for my Horror. I will keep my audience in mind whilst doing this, as it has to appeal to them. I will also ensure I use sound effects and impact sounds, which are intense and sinister; thus creating atmosphere. I have sourced my sound effects from BBC's sound effects library.  Below I have uploaded sound files to the sound effects I believe to be significant to my teaser trailer.

Possible names for my horror

1) Love. Actually? I like this title because it gives off a lot of suspense and mystery. The question mark makes the audience think and involves them with the film, thus drawing them in. The punctuation adds something to the title and separates the words and therefore I think it is effective.  2) Poison This film title is effective because it is malevolent and sinister. It therefore makes people think of horror films.  3) Sick love  This is a powerful title because both words juxtapose each other, which creates a sense of excitement and mystery.   4) Revenge  I like this name for my film title because it goes well with the plot of the film, by giving hints to what happens, but at the same time not giving too much away.  5) Heartless Within the script, there is a crucial scene where one of the characters says 'You're heartless'. Therefore, by having this as the title makes it more compe...

Shooting Schedule

Since having finished my final shot list, I am going to plan where/when the filming is going to be taking place. In order to do this as efficiently as possible, whilst also taking my actors into consideration, I have created a shooting schedule which groups different parts of my shot list together. I have not filmed shots in the same order as my shots will appear in my trailer. This is because I thought about which actors I needed for certain parts and the location/setting it would be taking place in. I have also ensured that I leave five seconds before and after each shot, to help me with editing as well as shooting each shot from a series of different angles and distances.  First day of filming -  Film section of trailer which involve only my female actor  of her alone inside the house; e videncing she knows about stalker  Downstairs: -Creepy letter coming through the letter box (film all distances and angles) -Different distances and angles of her facial e...

Storyboard for my trailer

Since completing my shot list, I have followed this up by creating a story board for my trailer. This includes a drawing of each shot, along with the type of shot and duration and any sound/dialogue which I included.  Below is my storyboard:

Final shot list

I have written up my finished shot list, which I have adapted from my first draft. I have made sure that i've included lots of different angles for each shot. I am also going to ensure that I leave five seconds before and after I have recorded each shot.  Scene 1 Establishing shot of wherever he’s going to propose Long shot of boyfriend getting all nervous Cut to girlfriends face Cut to close up of ring in his hand Cut to close up of girlfriend’s shocked facial expression Include a bit of ‘romantic dialogue’ Close up of boyfriend putting ring on finger Close up of boyfriends face after she says yes Close up of girlfriend’s facial expression Ex boyfriend takes a photograph 2 shot Close up of girlfriend (go far away as possible that when zoomed in as much as I can it’s a close up of her) Zoomed in shot of ring on finger Closeup shot of front of the camera Covert to black and white Edit in camera sound Wear different clothes here and ha...

Rough shot list

This was my first version of my rough shot list. I ensured that for my final shot list, I included a higher range of more detailed shots from a higher range of different angles. I was aware that this draft would not be the final piece. Therefore, it has allowed me to develop my ideas and has helped me to develop a more creative version. I have managed to write this one in the same order as I did in my final list.  Take photos of someone at home, arrange lighting to look like film lighting don’t use overhead lighting Experiment with lighting to create shadows Try experimenting with half lighting across someones face Ex boyfriend stalking new boyfriend and ex girlfriend First half gives her an engagement ring Back-story to the new couple Nice music Reference to having moved on ‘im so much happier than I used to be’ ‘im so happy im not with someone whose crazy’ Second half is the stalking Shots of the stalker monitoring them Long range shots of them wal...
