Shooting Schedule

Since having finished my final shot list, I am going to plan where/when the filming is going to be taking place. In order to do this as efficiently as possible, whilst also taking my actors into consideration, I have created a shooting schedule which groups different parts of my shot list together. I have not filmed shots in the same order as my shots will appear in my trailer. This is because I thought about which actors I needed for certain parts and the location/setting it would be taking place in. I have also ensured that I leave five seconds before and after each shot, to help me with editing as well as shooting each shot from a series of different angles and distances.

First day of filmingFilm section of trailer which involve only my female actor of her alone inside the house; evidencing she knows about stalker

Downstairs:
-Creepy letter coming through the letter box (film all distances and angles)
-Different distances and angles of her facial expressions
-Film back door being open

Upstairs:
-Waking up alone scene (change of clothes to pajamas)
-Walking down the stairs
-Change of clothes (wearing a towel)
-Bathroom scene
-Telephone scene
-Include close up of her answering phone
-Use a sinister voice over of ex-boyfriend on the phone
-Include dialogue of female actress speaking; make sure she sounds terrified

Second day of filming: Shots for the montage

-Spare change of clothes for couple
-All actors are needed for shooting
-Ensure stalker is wearing all black and has a hoodie on
-Have other two actors wearing 'normal' casual clothing
-Include a range of different locations
-Inside the house where girlfriend tells boyfriend about stalker
-Stalker filming couple as they walk down the street
-Stalker filming couple from inside his car
-Stalker down by the side of the house
-Stalker looking through the letter box; this shot will not be going in the montage

Third day of filming

-Use all actors
-New location
-Film establishing shots in the park
-Ensure female actor has 2 changes of clothes
-Ensure male actor who plays the boyfriend has 3 changes of clothes
-Boyfriend proposes to girlfriend
-Stalker takes photographs of couple; audience becomes aware of stalker
-Couple change clothes
-Few shots of them walking through a different park
-Boyfriend changes clothes
-Shot of conflict between boyfriend and stalker

Fourth day filming

-Change of location
-Shot includes boyfriend actor only
-Ensure he's in different clothes to the other shots
-Shots of him lying dead on the floor
-Make it ovbious it is the pyscho stalker ex boyfriend who has killed him

Poster analysis introduction

I am going to conduct research and analysis towards the conventions of film posters. I have looked at five different posters from a variety of genres, in order to see if there are similarities within the conventions. This will help my understanding of the depth in film posters, thus benefitting me when I am making my own.  Below are the five posters, each of different genres, which I chose to analyse the conventions of: 1) La La Land  2) Spider Man  3) Insidious 2  4) Hangover 2  5) The Notebook

Magazine cover analysis introduction

After looking at the conventions of movie posters, I will now do the exact same, but for film magazine covers. Both film magazines I will be looking at are aimed at different audience and will both be for different front covers from a different film magazine. In terms of design and layout, I will be able to see if both film magazines share the same conventions.  Below are the two film magazine covers I will be analysing:

list of tools I used in software

Adobe premiere: software ALL DONE ON A PC Camera: HC-VX980 Manfrotto tripod Use of dissolves From black dissolving into next shot – slows the tone down and gives glimpses in (seems like little romantic snapshots at the start) I added an outside sound during the park shots Camera sound from the colleges sound effect library Impact sounds from BBC sound library I included a sound effect of a ring tone from BBC sound effects library instead of the apple iphone ringtone which I recorded with the shot iphone doesn’t sound like a ringtone in a trailer Fading down the volume of the music whenever there was any dialogue from the actors the music was loudest in the 3 rd part so I especially did this here Photoshop, for the film title
