Possible names for my horror

1) Love. Actually?
I like this title because it gives off a lot of suspense and mystery. The question mark makes the audience think and involves them with the film, thus drawing them in. The punctuation adds something to the title and separates the words and therefore I think it is effective.

2) Poison
This film title is effective because it is malevolent and sinister. It therefore makes people think of horror films.

3) Sick love
This is a powerful title because both words juxtapose each other, which creates a sense of excitement and mystery.

4) Revenge
I like this name for my film title because it goes well with the plot of the film, by giving hints to what happens, but at the same time not giving too much away.

5) Heartless
Within the script, there is a crucial scene where one of the characters says 'You're heartless'. Therefore, by having this as the title makes it more compelling, symbollic and powerful.

6) X boyfriend
The film plot is about a crazy ex boyfriend. By having the word 'ex' written in this way is a way of expressing how he has been crossed out of the girls life.

7) Obsessed
This is a good film name because the main idea behind the film plot is based around an obsessive ex-boyfriend. The word 'obsessed' could also link to psychotic nature of over obsessive behaviour; which is sinister and fits into a horror film.

Poster analysis introduction

I am going to conduct research and analysis towards the conventions of film posters. I have looked at five different posters from a variety of genres, in order to see if there are similarities within the conventions. This will help my understanding of the depth in film posters, thus benefitting me when I am making my own.  Below are the five posters, each of different genres, which I chose to analyse the conventions of: 1) La La Land  2) Spider Man  3) Insidious 2  4) Hangover 2  5) The Notebook

Magazine cover analysis introduction

After looking at the conventions of movie posters, I will now do the exact same, but for film magazine covers. Both film magazines I will be looking at are aimed at different audience and will both be for different front covers from a different film magazine. In terms of design and layout, I will be able to see if both film magazines share the same conventions.  Below are the two film magazine covers I will be analysing:

Evaluation - what have I learnt from my audience feedback?

Within my research and planning, I constantly had my target audience in mind. I therefore conducted several questionnaires and focus groups,  in order to gather information on what my audience expected in regards to different media texts, along with making decisions based on their feedback.  My main aim for my marketing campaign was for it to hold authenticity and realism for the audience. I questionnaires which I have included below helped me achieve this: Questionnaire for poster Questionnaire for magazine cover Questionnaire for teaser trailer Additionally, I have also conducted a series of questionnaires post production of my marketing campaign. I wanted to gather feed back from my audience to see if they felt that my poster, magazine cover and teaser trailer were sustainable, accurate and convincing.  My posters questionnaire goes as follows:  1) Was the font I used effective in portraying the nature of a horror film? If so how? 2) Did you fee...
