Total film is the second film magazine cover that I analysed. As predicted, in comparison to the previous magazine cover, this one also includes a Masthead, cover lines, issue date and price, dominant central image, barcode and banner.

Poster analysis introduction

I am going to conduct research and analysis towards the conventions of film posters. I have looked at five different posters from a variety of genres, in order to see if there are similarities within the conventions. This will help my understanding of the depth in film posters, thus benefitting me when I am making my own. Both film magazines I will be looking at are aimed at different audience and will both be for different front covers from a different film magazine.
